I'm Andy Childers, founding partner of Childers, Schlueter & Smith (CSS) in Atlanta, where I represent individuals nationwide in mass tort litigation involving dangerous pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
I co-founded Childers, Schlueter & Smith (CSS) because I believe people deserve a strong voice when they’ve been hurt by companies that put profits over safety. For more than two decades, I’ve stood beside clients facing life-changing injuries from dangerous medications and medical devices, working to hold those responsible accountable.
Since earning my J.D. from the University of Georgia in 1998 and admission to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and Pennsylvania, I’ve concentrated on mass tort litigation, representing clients harmed by medications and medical devices.
My work has taken me into leadership roles in some of the nation’s largest mass tort cases—from pharmaceutical litigation to defective medical products. I’ve helped secure significant verdicts and settlements, including one of the largest pharmaceutical injury verdicts in Georgia. But what matters most to me isn’t the size of the case—it’s making sure each client feels heard, supported, and informed every step of the way.
I work with people from all walks of life, all over the country. Whether it’s a parent fighting for a child harmed by infant formula, or someone living with the aftermath of a dangerous drug, I approach every case with the same commitment: to protect my clients’ rights and help them move forward.
Alongside my practice, I stay active in the legal community—serving in leadership with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, teaching at Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health, and speaking regularly at Mass Torts Made Perfect.
